How do you play Golf solitaire?
Move the exposed bottom card of any of the seven columns onto the Waste when it’s one rank above or below the current top — suit doesn’t matter. Flip the Stock when you’re stuck. Clear all 35 tableau cards to win.
Do cards wrap around Kings and Aces in Golf solitaire?
No. Aces are low and the ranking does not wrap, so nothing plays on a King except a Queen. That makes Kings the hardest cards to clear and the main thing to plan around.
Is Golf solitaire hard to win?
It’s challenging — because ranks don’t wrap, a buried King or a cluster of same-rank cards can stall you completely. Choosing which column to open next, rather than grabbing the first legal card, is the whole skill.
