Spider Solitaire — questions & answers

How do you win Spider solitaire?

Build cards down in rank within the ten columns and assemble eight complete King-to-Ace runs, each in a single suit. Every finished run lifts off to the Done pile automatically — clear all eight to win.

Can you move a group of cards in Spider?

You can build down on any card regardless of suit, but you can only pick up and move a group together when it is a same-suit descending run. Mixed-suit sequences have to be moved one card at a time.

When can you deal a new row in Spider?

When you run out of moves, deal a row from the Stock — one card onto every column. You can’t deal while any column is empty, so fill every gap before you deal again.
